Embroiders Guild Queensland Incorporated

The Embroiders' Guild Queensland has a love of the fine arts and especially that of embroidery, originating from ancient times. Whilst the Guild has kept the traditional forms of embroidery alive, it also embraces newer, exciting forms of stitching, and offers a wide range of classes for adults and children. These classes have been developed for skill levels from the beginner through to the accomplished embroiderer. The Guild is located in an historic masonic hall, owned by the Guild since 1984. It holds displays and an extensive collection of antique and modern needlework and over 1,000 catalogued books, videos and magazines on all facets of embroidery.
