Miles Historical Village and Museum

The Village was the vision of some very inspiring community members who's aim was to create a place where history could be preserved and presented in a 'streetscape' style as it was back in the day. There are more than 30 buildings housing amazing collections and bring a bygone era to life. Some of these include the coach house, blacksmiths, general store, post office, bakery, union hotel, barbers, chemist, café, bank, hospital and a butcher shop.

In addition to the streetscape shops, there are significant collection displays including The Artesian Basin Centre, Norman Donpon Lapidary Display, War Museum, Mr G Morgan Shell House, Main Museum and more. Many of the collections are comprised of items generously donated by keen enthusiasts of the Miles Historical Village from all over Australia.
