Come to Ballywire Farm and Tearooms and experience a fully working farm, see farm animals including donkeys, horses, sheep, cows, chickens, bantams, ducks, geese, rabbits, dogs, cats and fauna rescue animals. There are farm animal displays, farm produce for sale, arts and crafts, tearooms, licensed restaurant and pedal car track and games area for children. Visitors are encouraged to interact with animals and join in various farming activities. Extensive hands-on and interactive displays are available to enhance your visit. Unique handmade products, produce and giftware made on the premises, general merchandise, art and craft, food and wine, gifts and toys, items of interest for children and feed for animals can be purchased. Entry cost includes admission to all farm displays (undercover), animal feeding, animal petting and viewing areas, unlimited use of John Deere pedal car track and games area. Guide is available free of charge. An 18-hole mini golf course has just been built. Ballywire Farm is closed each year during winter following the South Australian July school holidays, and re-opens at the beginning of the September/October school holidays.
