Clayton Farm is a Heritage Museum set up on the property of one of the Tatiara District's early settlers, the Wiese family, now listed as a heritage site. The Clayton Farm Heritage Museum is situated three kilometres south of Bordertown, South Australia, on Clayton Farm Track, via the Naracoorte Road. You will find four thatched roof buildings, along with a cellar, chaff shed, hay shed, stables, a blacksmith shop and the homestead. The Woolshed built in 1901 is our main heritage attraction as it is the largest thatched roof woolshed in the southern hemisphere. You will see many items of farm machinery and tractors which have been restored and are displayed in the Jubilee 150 shed. Other original Wiese farm implements are also on display in sheds. The house showcases furniture and memorabilia that was left in the house when the last member of the family left the farm. Clayton Farm often hold Vintage Field Days when they have machinery and tractors giving demonstrations of how things used to be done.
