Squeaky Beach

Take a stroll along the marble-coloured sand of Squeaky Beach, one of Wilsons Promontory's most iconic beaches, and let your ears be entertained. The rounded grains of quartz make a squeaking sound when you stand on them, so you can literally hear yourself walk with no shoes on. Vehicle access is available via the Squeaky Beach car park, with a short five-minute walk to the beach through coastal scrub. And after you've heard enough, silence it all by diving into the turquoise water.
