Le Cosmodôme

The Cosmodome is Canada’s only world-class museum devoted entirely to astronautics and space exploration. This institution’s mission is to stimulate the interest of the young and young at heart, here and abroad, to space science, scientific literacy and careers related to the world of astronautics. To this end, the Cosmodome draws upon the fascinating history of space exploration — the outstanding achievements and tremendous challenges of space pioneers and interplanetary travel’s new explorers. At the new Cosmodome, visitors have the opportunity to experience one of three interactive and educational missions by virtually traveling in space. They can also discover our collection of artifacts from our permanent exhibition on space exploration and visit the Yuri Gagarin Information Centre. Last but not least, they can enroll in our Space Camp, a franchise of the U.S. Space Camp program. The Cosmodome looks forward to welcoming future explorers, astronauts, scientists, engineers and space adventure enthusiasts who will carry on the ultimate, all-encompassing dream to go even further...across the universe and beyond.
