Beautiful beach right across the street. Lots to do, there’s a swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball, laundry facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The first thing that struck us about our campsite was the huge amount of space between us and our next-door neighbors. Sites have concrete pads with grass around them, and lots of elbow room. Very forested and natural (there was a rabbit at our site when we pulled in), but with enough open sky that Starlink had no problem getting a signal. Pad was one of the most level we’ve had at 73 campgrounds this year. Water pressure was good. Site was very clean, as was the whole park.
We only stayed a week, but would love to have stayed longer, and will definitely return. There is SO much to do here, all of it wonderfully natural (biking, hiking, even attended an outdoor concert at the campground). Of all the campgrounds we’ve been in this year, this one definitely has that laid-back “camping” feel to it, and a genuine sense of community. And it's incredibly quiet at night!

Spacious sites with easy hook ups. WIFI is spotty. Wish we had more time here to explore, but just a pit stop for us. Quick drive (or little bit longer walk) to the beach. There are tons of trails all around. Staff is very friendly.
This was a beautiful location. We got there late and didn’t have a ton of time to enjoy the beach, but we were able to park our RV at the beach pavilion for free which saved us some time as the campsites are quite a distance from the beach by foot.
Beautiful park. Loved the boardwalks and trails. But be careful, so many sand burrs in our pup’s paws. The rv sites are large and the way the were positioned were quite private. Loved it.
Pristine State park with lots of spaces for camping! They fill up fast so make a reservation! Wonderful pool. Clean, updated bathrooms and showers. I would stay a month if I could!!!
The sites are widely spaced, all with full hookups. November is the off season with some shops and restaurants closed. More close during December but the campground was full.
With almost 500 sites, it is a big park. But the sites are well laid out so it doesn't feel crowded.

I think this might be the largest state park we've ever stayed at. With roughly 500 sites I feared it might be noisy and crowded, but since the park was only about half full at the time of our visit, it was actually the exact opposite. The sites are well spaced with level paved pads and full hook-ups. I had to knock a star off the rating because our site on Gator Rd. had no foliage between us and our neighbors, which meant we had zero privacy. Next time I would request a site either on Live Oak Dr. where you get a view of the lake (25 was my favorite because it had trees on either side), or way in the back of the park on Possum Rd where the sites back up to a wide open view of a large marshy area.
Overall it was a great park with laundry, a pool, tennis courts, paved bike paths, and easy access to a gorgeous white sand beach.

This is a beautiful park across the road from the beach. The park provides beach access to the paid section of the beach. There is a large pool that gets crowded quickly. It's possible to kayak, walk the many trails, bike ride, sightsee, fish and more. There is lots to do right outside of the park as well: bumper cars, zip lining, etc.
