Colorado Springs Brewery Crawl

Located in a former school building that's been converted, Bristol Brewing has the cool atmosphere down pat. They even have some bar games and a nice patio, plus they serve food, which is always a bonus. Red Rocket Pale Ale is delicious, and even though Winter Warlock is a seasonal oatmeal stout, it's worth getting if they have it. The Beehive Honey Wheat is a nice option for the reserved beer-drinker, so there's really something for everyone.

The industrial space, convenient downtown location, and patio and pizza restaurant here all make Iron Bird another great stop on a brewery crawl. Plus, their focus is on cask-aged ales, which really sets them apart from other breweries. Stouts, wits, DIPAs and IPAs are all on tap here, plus there are a few that they have on cask, as well as seasonal offerings and guest taps.

Colorado Mountain Brewery is more of a brewpub. They've got a fun sense of humor (one of their year-round brews is the Unibräu Hefe) and a menu of American bar fare with a Colorado twist (think, venison eggrolls, bison bolognese, duck poutine, and more). Plus, the building is an 1887-era railroad station. These guys are big on Colorado culture and history, of you couldn't tell!

The quirkiest brewery in town has to be Trinity Brewing. The uber-eco-friendly joint, made almost entirely of upcycled materials, fits pretty well with their menu of food, much of which is vegan-friendly, and their totally funky beers. Lots of saisons, Flemish sours, barrel-aged stuff, and tons of out-of-the-box ingredients mean really wild beverages.
