We stay here everytime we pass through southern Georgia. For a golfer this is a dream park. The sites are pull throughs on grass. Sites are level, long, wide, and grass. They aren't anything special but very adequate. We always stay in the first row which right off the first tee. The owner we met six years ago has left and the place is need of some work. But the golf course is in great shape. It is a very challenging nine hole course with two tough water holes. The tees and greens are perfect. We stay here mainly to play golf which is free if you walk! We played nine of our ten days and had the course to ourselves every morning. The clubhouse has a bar, pool table, card tables, and TVs. There is a tennis court, pool and whirlpool. The new owners are putting everything into the golf course. The park has good WiFi and is very quiet. This is a PPA park which gives you one night at $16.50 and other nights at $23.50. The park is small with maybe 30 sites. Come prepared with plenty of groceries. There is not much of a town and the couple restaurants aren't great. Walmart and grocery stores are 20 miles away. You are in cotton and peanut country.

GNATS!! Bring a good spray! We stayed here 2 years ago under the previous owners. Seems as though those owners kept the place a little nicer. I don't know how long the owners have been here but there's work to be done here. The golf course is in pretty good shape, greens are good, tee boxes need work and the course just needs a good sprucing up. It has two great water holes. Carts were good but dirty. No drinking water on course. Golf not free any longer but rates are "cheap". Fun 9-hole course..
The RV sites are OK but need cleaning up. Pads were stone but weeds have grown over. Seems a little mowing and weed killing would help a lot. There a couple of permanent residents that need a little push to "clean up". Water is good with good pressure.
The young man we dealt with was very friendly and willing to please. But he didn't make good use of his idle time. Bar area wasn't very clean as well as the patio area outside. Seems as though a little elbow grease and paint would really help. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. The wi-fi is unpredictable but worked good when it worked. TV reception was pretty good.
This could be a great little park.
We'll stay again in the future

I saw the review from 2017 and it seems they have invested a great deal. Grounds are perfectly groomed, location is gorgeous and right on a well maintained 9 hole golf course. Pool is very large and appears recently renovated. The people that work there are really really friendly and make you feel at home. Rent a golf cart for 5 bucks and check out the large wooded areas.
Here are some small shortcoming, really areas for improvement more than anything else.
WiFI - Terrible, even worse than usual bad RV park WiFI found it useless. Shower- Clean, but could use some upkeep. Roads, 80% smooth gravel, but some spots deeply rutted. Gnats- of course its Florida in July, everyone has bugs.
Overall easy to get in, all sites are pull through, lots of space between campers and really warm friendly staff.

The Campground (CG) was easy to find and check in was easy. We received a Passport America discount for our two night’s weekday stay. We proceeded to pull through site 10 with FHUs, picnic table, stand up barbecue, and fire pit. Wanee is a no frills CG though they do have a pool, showers, and laundry. The sites are mostly FHU pull throughs on dirt and grass. Water pressure was good. Our Bulldog surge protector didn’t like their 50 AMP so it kicked our power on and off when we ran heat pumps with other appliances. When we contacted the office, they said this occurrence is not uncommon and asked us to disconnect the surge protector as it can affect their grid as well. We got 4 bars on Verizon and a few OTA channels. The WiFi was about average for a CG this size. Their 9 hole golf course was enjoyable to play. The owners and work campers were super nice and we had an enjoyable two-day stay.

We stayed here for an overnight on our way home from Florida. Owners/management were extremely nice and gave a discount for our stay.
The campsites were grass covered and after a rain it was pretty muddy. The gnats and and mosquitos were really bad and even swarmed you while you were setting up. Full hookups were nice to have but the water pressure was almost non-existent.
A little overpriced for what you get here.

Our RV GPS and WAZE took us right to the campground (CG). There’s plenty of space to park in front of the clubhouse where you check-in. We were then escorted to pull through site 6 with FHUs for our six-day stay. Our daily fee of $46 consisted of discounts from Passport America at 50% off for 3 days and then a 10% Good Sam discount. The CG had a mixture of permanent, seasonal, transient, and short-termers like us. We stayed here last year at about the same time in early January and really enjoyed ourselves, so we decided to stay longer. Water pressure is around 60 psi here, and we got quite a few OTA channels. There are a few trees in the CG, but we were able to get a good shot for our Starlink. The CG WiFi was okay but glad we had our Starlink. We got two bars on Verizon. The sites are adequately spaced with 6 being one of the better sites. The sites are gravel with a picnic table, standup bbq (in most sites, including ours), and a fire pit. We did not have a fire pit, but we could have fetched one out of an empty site. There’s a pool and laundry attached to the clubhouse. This is a no-frills campground, but there are plans to take out the driving range and put in upgraded RV sites. The clubhouse’s Fire Ant Grill has decent food. We tried their basic cheeseburger and the green olive sauce burger that is based on an old Michigan A&W Root Beer recipe. Both were delicious. Groceries at Dollar General are cheaper than Piggly Wiggly. Katz Veterinary is a good place for basic vet needs. We enjoyed our stay and had fun playing their 9-hole course.

Very little shade but flat site. Enjoyable pool area except for the flies-couldn’t sit and read. Helpful staff. Restroom situation could be improved.
