The Frostop Drive-in is more than just a classic burger and shake place, it is a veritable oasis on the road to and from Yellowstone National Park, Island Park, or Mesa Falls. Countless visitors, both local and from across the world, have stopped here seeking cool refreshment ... and they found it. This is a great place for a shake or cool drink. The huckleberry shake is a local favorite, as is the rootbeer float. The caramel float was my favorite as a boy whenever we passed through Ashton on a hot afternoon after a trip to the mountains.
There is nothing better than the only place to stop for lunch being freaking FANTASTIC! We stopped in at the Frostop Drive-in in Idaho on our way back from Montana, and it was such a good idea.... Read more

Not a fan of spring mix on a hamburger. Stale bun. The large root beer float had little ice cream and the ice cream was icy in texture. Fries were great crispy. Read more
