In 1965, a group of extraordinary women established the Forward Arts Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia. These distinguished arts patrons, whose dynamic leadership was matched by their determination, transformed the carriage house of the Swan House estate into a thriving restaurant, gift shop, and gallery. Through the operation of the Swan Coach House, sale of the Swan's Palette Cookbook, the annual Fall Flea Market and other fund-raising events, the Forward Arts Foundation has realized significant funds in support of the visual arts, and has created an indelible mark on Atlanta's art landscape.
