The campground was right by Weko Beach and an easy walk even with lots of kids and equipment. However, the campground is little more than a dirt lot. No grass or asphalt at all. Previous campers had left burnt trash behind that had not been cleaned up (shame on them, but the property owners should have taken care of it between campers). Bathrooms were filthy. LOTS of traffic in the RV area as all tent campers drove over to use the shower house. Not really a campground for kids to roam around on bikes, etc.
Weko Beach, however, was a gem and made a few nights at a subpar campground worth it. Beautiful, uncrowded beach with lots of space and shallow water for kids to run free. Bridgman is an adorable little town with lots of wineries and breweries for mom and dad. We loved the area but will hopefully get a spot at one of the state parks next time.

I arrived at dusk and there was no one at the check in to help me locate the site. Site numbers are at the back of the lots so in the dusk/dark I could not find my spot. A camper directed me up a hill that had no turn around and my spot was not located in that area. I had to back down and do a 3 point turn around in the dark to get back to the bottom. Just don’t go up that hill unless you are sure your site is at the top. The site are on sand so bring a rug for outdoors to keep the sand out. Sites are extremely close together. I have a 25 ft Navion. I wouldn’t recommend anything longer. That being said, the bath house was clean. The park is very close to beautiful Weko Beach. It is so worth it to stay here if you can get in.

Location to the beach was great but everyone around us lived at the campground. Creates a different atmosphere when everyone isn’t on vacation. Sites are sandy and uneven. We were at a tilt. The guy next to us wouldn’t stop talking to us when trying to back into the super tight spot which made things very stressful. Had to get other campers to move cars to help us back in. Bathrooms and showers were generally clean. The best part of this campground is that it’s right next to the beach and the beach is super nice!! Loved swimming and walking at warren state park. Cute little town also. Would be careful coming in with a very large trailer.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Site 58. Awesome site. A large corner site that was roomy and pretty private. Great campground with easy access to Weko Beach. This was our 1st time in Michigan and we’re glad we picked this area and this campground. It even rained the 1st afternoon and evening but didn’t ruin our stay. The only thing is if you’re at the bottom of the hill and it rains you may need four wheel drive to get back up

Easy to find site. We found a fairly flat spot for our small camper. Check in building stayed open till 8pm, place was pretty crowded but everyone was friendly and kept to themselves. There was one group that stayed up with music. Looked like maybe some people lived there? Quite a few permanent looking trailer set ups. Several trails going from the campground and it was a 5 minute walk from the beach. We had electric. Plenty of shade and trees surrounding area. The spots were sandy but not extreme. We found some wood in the surrounding greenery and made a little fire. Only three porta John’s in our site area but was told there were bathhouses at 2 of the other sites. There were lots of cabins in the site where we stayed as well. And water access at entrance of site. Little to no service for AT&T
