What a wonderful place to spend a beautiful day. The park is a massive sprawling facility in the heart of Chicago (similar to Central Park) which makes it a nice place to explore after being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. This is also the venue for Lollapalooza which should give you a sense of how big this place is. Highly recommend a stroll through here on your next visit to chicago.
Millennium Park is absolutely beautiful. Immediately adjacent to Chicago's downtown area, Millennium Park is one of my favorite places in the city. During the summer be sure and bring wine and a picnic for Monday night concerts in the park every week at the Frank Gehry-designed bandshell.
Beautiful park in the heart of downtown. "The Bean" gets a lot of the hype, but all of the infrastructure in and around the park is fascinating. Green's always good, and I'd recommend for a pleasant walk when in Chicago.
This place is awesome! You can BYOB to the theater and its absolutely massive and there is tons to see. Highly recommend a stop here! This is also the location of the bean or cloud gate so you can knock two places off at the same time!
Parking is a nightmare on the streets so bite the bullet and park at the millenium garages for the day and just go everywhere from there!
An absolutely beautiful piece of Chicago. There's always free shows happening, loads of places to kick back and relax, and plenty of street meat. In the winter you'll find an ice skating rink, in the summer there's a giant sprinkler that looks like people spitting at you. Always fun to grab some out-of-towners and visit "The Bean" (Cloud Gate) while you're at the park as well.
The place is crazy busy on weekends. The bean is really cool and there is a few good places for a stroll. It's free so good for families on a budget.
Strange architecture yet an amazing experience. You can walk this park and the green space seems to go on forever. We were lucky enough to visit while the Jazz Music Festical was going on so it was quite busy but something about being in this park made me fall in love with Chicago even more.
We loved walking through Millennium park. The windy bridge was fun. Great place for photography fun and a great place to let the kids run off some energy. We loved walking on the windy bridge. Looks like there is rock wall climibing, miniature golf and all kinds of things to do on that side of the park. We also walked out the other side of the park and right down to the waterfront of Lake Michigan. Great views and gorgeous park.
Love this park! It's so beautiful there! I almost didn't visit the park, but it ended up a great bonus to my trip to Chicago! I highly recommend stopping by!
One of my favorite parts of Chicago, this park is a MUST go-to if you are visiting the city. They might have live music, they might have a festival going on, but regardless of the weather/events/anything, this park is amazing.
