“close as possible to Daytona”
This is as close as you'll get if your ultimate destination is Daytona International Speedway or Daytona Beach. It's the perfect base camp for central Florida. You're just an hour away from Orlando. Walt Disney World (with Disney's Hollywood Studios) and Universal Studios are a little more than an hour's drive away, as is the Kennedy Space Center. Let this KOA be your base camp for Speed Week in February, Bike Week and the Daytona Spring Turkey Run in March, the July NASCAR race, Biketoberfest in October and Turkey Run in November. World-class sportfishing is minutes away. And it's only seconds to the world's largest flea market - right across the street! You'll enjoy KOA's RV Pull Thru Sites with a patio area. Max pull thru: 90 feet. Your hosts: the O'Dwyer family.

This park is clearly there for bikers and NASCAR race fans. The customer service reflects employees who are used to dealing with awful guests. So much so, that they treat the casual weekend campers and full timers like crap too. The women’s bathroom has no air conditioning. Imagine that, if you can! August in Florida with no air conditioning. The park is located at the intersection of US92, I-95 and a two lane cross road that cuts through the county. The road noise is over the top. Add to the road noise, the fact that the park is in the landing pattern of the International airport and sleeping is not easy to come by. The park is located one mile from the speedway, airport and three colleges; so, it near every restaurant you can imagine. The new Daytona One shopping and dining area is a mile away. WIFI? Think AOL dial-up circa 1997. Some days it would take 10 minutes to load google results.

It’s a great campground and close to everything.
It’s a little noisy at first but after a few days you don’t even notice it anymore. The staff takes great care of the park and the guests who stay. The bathrooms are old but clean and the laundry is fabulous!
Over all it really is a nice campground with roomy sites. Your not crammed in like a lot of parks.

Our overall experience was a great one: friendly & helpful staff, and close to shopping & tourist spots. We enjoyed having the end spot to walk our larger dog, but it did come with more noise because the site is closest to the main road. The grounds are great for daily walking, and bathrooms & laundry mat were very clean. We would definitely come back!

Made a last minute booking en route to KW and arrived late. Friendly host met us and checked us in. Park seemed clean and neat. Full hookups and a pull through spot. Couldn’t ask for more for a late booking.

easy to get to and if you don’t plan to stay as the sights aren’t very nice your fine. We stayed in a back in spot which boarders the main road so lots of noise from the trucks in the morning, didn’t use the facilities so we can’t comment on that… must note this is not a KOA as it comes up as such when you do a search …

Not "serene" as indicated on their website and CampSpot profile. Didn't get any quite for an entire week. It was awful.

Nightly rate is an average of 5 nights and does not include 12.5% taxes and booking fee. Good site with full hookups. Clean showers. Maneuvering in and out of the park isn't always easy, but it's manageable. We had a busy road behind our site that could be noisy, but it didn't bother us inside except when someone with a loud car decided to race down it. If we'd wanted to spend time outside the RV, it would be a different story. Convenient to everything in the area. Just about anything you would want to see is within 30 minutes, and the speedway is less than a mile away. I wouldn't want to be anywhere in Daytona when there was a race, but do take a tour of the speedway!
