DO NOT STAY HERE!! I’m giving one star out of sympathy for the staff member who had to deal with irate campers such as myself.
At 1:00 am the power went out to the row of campsites that we were in. My husband uses a sleep machine and without electricity he could not sleep.
As myself and other campers stated ( repeatedly), we paid for a site WITH electricity.
The solution we were given was to move to another spot. No good because we booked it to stay one night.
The staff member gave us 2 managers numbers (I believe these were the owners), and there was no answer at either number. I called the KOA corporate office and although they agreed with me, there was nothing they could do other than sending an email asking them to call us. No dice; they haven’t called or even attempted to make this right.
Again, do NOT stay at this campground if you wish to get what you paid for.
A nice and well-maintained campground with some wooded areas. The site is beside a river, however, there is no direct access to it but there's a nice pool for anyone looking to stretch some muscles. It can only accommodate vehicles that are no larger than 40 feet, but amenities are great typical of KOA campgrounds.
This park is literally right below the freeway and is VERY loaud to the point it is tough to talk in your campsite. Th site are gravel and not quite eve. Have to work at it. Some of the back in sites on the river are nice, but the larger RV using the pull through sites will be disappointed. At $115.00 a night, this place is actually a -o- minus. WAY too expensive. These are $35.00 sites.

Park is meh. Some spots are really really good, along the water. Then the others are not good. Their non-hookup sites is basically their storage lot. Good for an overnight, but that’s about it. Very overpriced for what you get (nothing really).

Although its right off the highway, its very quiet. The price is high, but the sites are large and pull-through and they have showers and laundry and some really scenic river side sites.

This KOA is an easy off and on from the HWY if you're passing through and our spot was so perfect. We had a pull thru spot with full hook ups and so much shade. So much room in-between each site.
There are 2 big areas for kids to play in and a pool we didn't end up using. There is a trail in the back of the park that is considered the dog run but it leads through the woods and we really enjoyed exploring back there. This campground also backs up onto a little river and you can walk down to the tent camping area to go fishing out there. Laundry room was nice. Tiny bit of interstate noise but we enjoy a little noise.
Oh and amazing Wifi.
Go explore Ellensburg if you are traveling through. They have a really nice farmers market and just generally a really cute downtown area. Everything you might need in a small college town.

This is your standard KOA. It is kept up nicely. My favorite part was there is a wild deer that hangs around, it seems to have adopted the park as its home. The park is quiet and clean, spots are not too cramped.
Overpriced but Worth $3 upgrade for river sites. Convenient to I-90 but there is road noise

This is a nice park just off I-90 in Ellensburg. Easy off and onto the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was level and shaded. We were a stone's throw from the Yakima river. Mature trees and green grass made the surroundings seem peaceful. We would stay here again. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Travel Trailer in July 2016.

We only stayed one night at the Ellensburg KOA, but were very impressed. The grounds were beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. Loves, Fred Meyer, Safeway and several good restaurants were all just a few minutes away yet we felt removed from the town and the park was quiet. We would definitely stay here again - and longer!
