The Botanical Garden Society of the Ozarks (BGSO) was incorporated in January 1994 as a non-profit organization. The founder and first Director was Donna Porter who worked tirelessly to see her vision materialize, serving on a volunteer basis from 1993 until 1997. Lifelong learning is a central part of the mission of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. We hold workshops, lectures, and classes for people of all ages throughout the year. We also serve Northwest Arkansas schoolchildren with programs in the schools and at the Garden.
Absolutely beautiful gardens that I highly recommend checking out if you are in Fayetteville and have a free afternoon. It is not super big and is an easy walk around, even for my elderly Dad.... Read more
Great time for kids. Very peaceful and family friendly "thing to do", they have scavenger hunts and activities. Give it a go if you need to blow an hour or two. Read more
