Friendly, free, learned a lot, kids played at the park and we walked the dog. Overall a great, easy and quick stop to get out!
Nicely restored station, relocated from private property to a city park. The attendant was informative & interesting.
We had a fun time getting out and stretching our legs at this little stop. The lady was very informative and she was able to answer all of our questions. There is also a park for kids to run around and restroom.
Definitely stop here! We have stopped here twice on cross country trips! There is a pony metal cut out and a historic rock plus an original cabin that was part of the pony express. Come when it is open to see the artifacts inside (free) and buy some fun or educational pony express souvenirs. The park has nice green space, bathrooms, picnic tables under a pavilion and a playground too.
Short stop, but nicely put together.
Really interesting place very well-maintained building beautiful little park lots of great souvenirs interesting travelers we highly recommend
This was really very cool! They did an amazing job making building look very authentic! Sweet man at register. Lots of cute souvenirs. We absolutely loved it
Very cool place to visit. Very informative guide was willing and eager to share all you wanted to learn. She even suggested a few other, not so distant, places to stop.
Adelle made this a much cooler experience because she explained a few things and was very excited to see our son be curious
Worth the visit as its an important part of history
