This small RV park (39 sites) has been here many years but just recently became a KOA. It is away from town and on a road with other privately owned property...no industrial activities or businesses of any kind.
We've never stayed at a KOA that had so many trees and separate hook areas, not to mention, creek with waterfalls and swimming holes. Our spot #18 has its own deck with table and chairs (see pic).
We think the best sites, some right over the creek, are numbers 1 thru 19. It actually felt like we were in more of state park than a RV campground.

Price reflects KOA card discount for FHU site. We had planned to only stay 1 night, but (easily) extended an additional day. Few other campers and they were scattered so we had privacy and quiet. Cute little campfire spot. Nice trails to walk the dog. Good and clean showers. Looks like several summertime amenities such as river swimming holes and games. No cable TV but ATT cell service for streaming was exceptional.

For $51 I expect a site where I can level my Sprinter (using ramps)
My neighbor to the left had a very old Rv and stuff everywhere including my site when I showed up.
He was maybe 4 feet from my Rv. He started his engine or generator in the middle of the night!
Site 6, the person there could not get his auto leveling to level his Sprinter.

We camped here during the reopening of locations during Covid-19. Therefore the restrooms were not available, this is disappointing as I prefer to use the restrooms in a park when I can (I am in charge of dumping the black). Another negative was that the WiFi did not cover the lower part of the park. The campground itself is a true campground. Gravel roads, non-symmetrical sites. Our site was next to a canyon with a creek below. We just had a bit of an issue with a 'permanent' camper in a tiny home next to us. I parked too close to the dividers in place that protected her sewer connection. I did NOT touch them though. She confronted my wife about it in an initially belligerent manner. I joined in the conversation and we were able to calm it down and I moved my truck. However, the AT&T service was excellent!

This is probably the best KOA we've stayed at in our experience. The location in Grants Pass, OR is great. The park sits next to a river with waterfalls. There are trails. It's just a great park over all. We camped at Grants Pass KOA Journey in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful campground that is lightly wooded and well spaced. The office folks were very helpful at check in. I booked on the national website so that is easy. There are lots of amenities including playgrounds, jump pad, volleyball, tetherball, axe throwing and nice restrooms as well as a trail to a waterfall. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit/grill. Ours had nice chairs as well. Most sites are pull through. The store is well stocked. Nearby recreational activities include the Rogue River and Redwood Forest. AT&T has good reception (3 bars) that is enough for streaming. No antenna reception or cable. The camp WiFi is slow and incapable of streaming. There is wildlife roaming through the camp including turkeys and deer.

What a great stop! This place doesn’t have a lot of man man amenities but plenty of Natural ones! The swimming holes and waterfalls are so gorgeous! These areas are only open to KAO Guests, so it’s also likely you’ll be the only ones there! Sites are large and easy to navigate for large trailers. Staff is welcoming and helpful! We will be regular visitors here.
