We loved this RV Park, especially after seeing the other options in Half Moon Bay. This one is located away from the main highway so there is no traffic noise, and we could see the Pacific Ocean from our site. Also, lots of trees around the property. We loved that the Coastal Trail starts literally right outside of the park, so it was great to be able to bike and walk so easily on the trail, and down the beach. (Although not to restaurants, etc. unless willing to go at least 5 miles, some of which is off road trails). All the staff we met were very friendly, and helpful. My only complaints are that the sites are a bit tight, it made it hard for people to back in and get out. They don't recycle. Finally, the trash was picked up at 4:30 in the morning, so were awakened to the sound of the truck backing up and then the noise of the trash falling in. Seems like they could request a later pick up. Overall though, a great stay to enjoy Half Moon Bay!

Ok, California is expensive when it comes to RV camping. However, this place has a great location and clean showers that are free. They also have laundry and a little store. The coastal trail is short walk away. The campsites are tight but it’s not the kind of place where you want to hang out because the ocean is right there. We enjoyed our stay! The only reason we put 4 stars is because the campsite was so small.

Very nice sidewalk to beach with stairway access. Beautiful location. 1 bathroom for entire campground. The other was closed for renovation. Steep driveway. Wall-to-wall campers.

Sites are very tight and not marked. Lots of full timers trashing up the place (it looks like a homeless encampment). And unfortunately the full time RVers are permitted to encroach on your expensive site.
Little to no management oversight. Also no functioning Wi-Fi. To the point where the SSID of the listed Wi-Fi doesn’t even show up next to the office.
Short walk to the beach and that’s about it.

My family stayed here 6 nights while visiting family in HMB. Basically only 2 parks in town, and both have everyone packed in like sardines. We did not stay at Half Moon Bay park, but could see it was also packed. Parking set up is very strange, having neighbors park tow vehicles in each others outside picnic area. We had mabe a 6' Ă— 10' outdoor space with a picnic table, next to someone elses truck and under their RV windows. Most guests were polite but 2 nights we had a noisy slightly drunk group celebrating until 1am, and a large family reunion blocked one of the through roads for most of the time.No one seemed to know how to clean up after themselves in the public bathrooms despite all their fancy RVs. Sand and clumps of hair in the 3 showers almost daily. Water pressure less than adequate at the site. Only 2 bathrooms for the whole park. Wifi did not reach more than 75ft from the office. If it had not been for the location less than 2 mi from family's home and the great attitude and kindness of the staff, we would have left. In fact, my family of 6 slept one night on the floor of family's home instead. Not a good RV experience, absolutely zero privacy. Decent beach with access. Location, location, location. Seems a shame in this area there are not better options.
