“Montana’s contemporary artistic heritage”
The Holter collects and preserves artwork important to Montana’s contemporary artistic heritage, beginning with the birth of Montana’s modernism. The Museum cares for approximately 1,500 artworks -- paintings, drawings, prints, glass, sculpture and ceramics -- by over 100 artists. We are honored to include major bodies of work by Robert and Gennie DeWeese, Rudy and Lela Autio, and the members of the Bray community.
