“recognized for its quaint shopping”
Ironwood’s downtown is recognized for its quaint shopping; there are several nice cafes, coffee shops and bakeries along with a place to grab a “ miners pasty.” There are antiques, gifts, furnishings, hardware and a wonderful bookstore to name a few places. At the Ironwood Chamber of Commerce there’s a brochure for a self-guided walking tour to downtown buildings and mining sites. See the historic Memorial Building, Ironwood Theatre, Curry House, Carnegie Library and Pocket Park to name a few.
