“Hike in the Woods, Swim in the Falls!”
Robert H. Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty, with the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, to where visitors can see a mile-and-a-half down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Campers can choose from tent or RV sites or cabins. Enjoy nine miles of hiking trails, or swim in a stream-fed pool beneath a waterfall. Swimming is allowed in lifeguarded area only.

Awesome place to take the kids! Great hiking and sightseeing, swimming and facilities!!
The maps and signs are not the clearest. Before you begin walking make sure you're on the right end of the trails (I believe that moderate trail and quickest is the southern or bottom parking lot). My family made the mistake by beginning our hike from the camping parking lot! BIG MISTAKE! We walked over 2 miles on a very difficult trail and left us completely exhausted two hours later when we made it to the falls. The falls were utterly beautiful, but by using the wrong trail almost made it not worth it. The hike is beautiful and be sure to climb the staircase mountain by the waterfall, you'll be on top of the world and above all the other mountains. Be sure of what trail you're on before you begin and you'll have the best experience ever!!
If you enjoy the beautiful outdoors, peaceful hiking, invigorating waterfalls, and incredible stone masonry work...you will fall in love with this state park, just outside of Ithaca. Breathtaking views. Simply a must see. The entrance fee will get you into any of the other 29 state parks in the Finger Lakes Region on the same day.
The trails are fairly easy and you can definitely bring kids along. The trails have great views of some awesome waterfalls. There is a really cool swimming area with a waterfall, kids pool, and a diving board. Overall, this park was beautiful and a great stop on my road trip!
