“learn about history while having a meal”
Right inside the local Burger King lies an unexpected yet informative study of the Navajo Code Talkers. The Navajo Code Talker display, plus a display on weaving, are excellent. The Navajo music makes for a very nice atmosphere. Facility is very clean, service is friendly and efficient.

Fantastic artifacts and a great little set up, it's just sad that this kind of recognition is only available in a Burger King.
***First of all, don’t use the navigate button to get here. Just search for the Burger King in Kayenta.
Took my husband here because he had just recently learned of the code talkers and had been taking about it. It is very interesting to learn about and really quite genius. Great display!
So glad we stumbled across this little stop! My boys are into history, so this was a great place to stretch our legs and learn some fascinating World War II information. Yes, this place IS in Burger King. It's free though and we didn't even order food. If you have younger kids, there's a play area for them to let off steam too. Worth the stop, but man I wish it was in something other than a fast food joint.
It was a very nicely done display. They have an outdoor museum as well. However it was closed when we arrived so I am not sure what is in there. The employees at the Burger King were friendly and everything was very clean. It was great to read about and see the artifacts of the Code Talkers. The display was almost as good as the display in the museum at Monument Valley.
I was very glad we stopped here. It is a very well done display and we needed lunch too so the air conditioned burger king made a great break from the heat to take our time reading all the info and looking at the many things in the display.
The display itself was very well done! Unfortunately, it was extremely difficult to find! Drove around town searching...then, discovered it was inside the Burger King! I wouldn't ever have guessed it would be inside a fast food restaurant!
Burger King makes for kind of a bizarre place for a memorial to such an incredible story, but the display is pretty cool.
