“to educate people about the natural environment”
Woldumar provides educational opportunities for experiencing our natural environment, to promote an ethic of land stewardship and an appreciation of our cultural heritage. The center’s staff uses the facility and 150-acre property for mission-related activities. Facilities include the Visitors’ Center, the RE Olds Anderson Rotary Barn, the Caretaker’s Cottage, the Moon Log Cabin, and Sunrise Pavilion. The property is located along the Grand River with 1.25 miles of shoreline. Over 5 miles of trails are available throughout the year for hiking and cross-country skiing. The property is home to a diverse population of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Many of the interpretive displays located in the Visitors’ Center relate directly to what can be enjoyed on the trails.
