Gathering Grounds Patisserie & Cafe

We are friends and family who love to cook and share our cooking with others.  When we started the business in May 2011, we wanted to give Luray and the visitors a unique experience.  Our pastries are baked fresh, using our own recipes.  Each day we bake something different from the day before and there is always a new flavor of a scone to try for breakfast or a dessert.  Speaking of desserts, we have the largest assortment of fresh baked pies.  These are made from the recipes that our mother gave us.  Also, cookies, brownies, cakes and other unique treats.  For our sandwiches, we hand carve all of our meats that we roast on premises.  Each day we will have a few featured menu items.  This keeps the menu fresh and new.  We are very proud of our coffee bar and the selections that we offer.  We have already added our new summer drinks: delicious flavors of mocha, java chip, kona mocha, vanilla and chocolate peanut butter and selections of chai served hot, over-ice or blended.  These rich drinks are sure to keep you cool under the hot sun. We also have a nice selection of Star Hill Beer, Abita Beer and an extensive selection of wine.  It can be enjoyed here, taken home or on a picnic!We do have WIFI for your convenience and an enjoyable place to relax.When you walk in the door, we want you to feel like you are coming into our home.Please come visit us and see our beautiful cafe!
