We are usually not casino goers, but the area was still devastated after Katrina (two years) and we wanted a beach location. This was it. Also, shuttle service to casino eating if you like overeating and lots to electronic noise in the casino.
Speaking of noise, C/G was quiet when we were there and not crowded. That would probably not be the case on weekends, event nights or holidays. Otherwise a good stop!
Hopefully the town is rebuilt buy now. There wasn't a building standing after the 35' surge wiped out the town. Very sad.

No amenities and no staff on site, and it is one of our favorite spots in 26 states and 19 months! Get the back row sites if you're in a MH and the front row if you have a 5er with living windows on the back. FHUs with 50 amp. New fire grills, nice picnic table. Concrete pads with good size grass space - especially on the back row. We paid $45 for Friday and Saturday and $25 for the other nights. First night free with a players' card at the casino 1/2 mile away. The card also got us one buffet lunch free with the purchase of one. We enjoyed walking on the beach just yards away from our site, a short drive to great dining in the little town of Bay St Louis, and the NASA science center up the highway is a great stop. No park WiFi, our ATT MiFi worked well.

We missed the non existent signs saying no RV's past this point and got stuck at the valet who was less than helpful. When the mystery got solved that the girl we spoke with on the phone was wrong their are only 2 RV lots (she told us 3) and none of them have pull through spaces(she told us we had a pull through). We finally got headed back to the right RV lot and into our very unimpressive camp site where we were told to wait for security to come unlock the power for us to plug into. It took us less than 5 minutes to drive from the valet to the campsite. Security took 45 minutes. If I have to run my generator why did I pay them $45?

Incredible value for being just a few feet from the beach and having concrete pads. Beautiful ocean views! Far enough from the casino to be separated but close enough for a short walk .5 mile. This was a great one night stopover for us. The Oceanfront site was a little tight for my truck and 38ft fifth wheel but not a problem. The staff rode through in a security truck quite often but no actual staff on site. A little road noise since the road to the casino sits between you and the beach get one of the sites on the back row for more room and less road noise if you don’t care about being right on the gulf. You can also get a free night at the rv park from the casino if you enjoy casinos we only used the rv park.

We had just left Buccaneer State Park and were headed west when we saw this “campground”. It is not much more than a parking lot but oh, the views of the gulf – you can’t get much closer! There are 37 sites with level concrete pads, each with electric (30 & 50 amp), water & sewer and trash receptacles. Each site has a BBQ and picnic table but there are NO restrooms. Rates are $25 - $35 (for view spots) Sunday – Thursday and $30-$49 for Friday and Saturday. Higher prices (up to $99) on holidays and note that Mardi Gras is considered a holiday! However, if you “join” at the nearby Casino for eligible play, you will get a free night in return. If you bank enough eligible play nights, you can stay for free on future stays. Not our preferred kind of camping but might be worth a gamble for a night. Call (228) 469-2777, ext. 0 for more information.

What a find! Beautiful, small campground just across the road from the sugar sand beach. We are not gamblers but the casino is a 5 min drive away and many of our neighbors loved it. We were glad to have a site off the road as there was lots of grass to walk our dog. There are miles of beach sidewalks and the quaint town of Bay St Louis is 10 min away. Quiet & peaceful visit!! Thanks!

When registering for the site, if you sign up for the casino’s rewards program. You can get a free nights stay at the RV park. It’s a beautiful beach front park with full hookups, BBQ, and picnic table. If you want to go gamble, the valet will come to your site and take you to the casino.
There are train noise from time to time.

Checking in is different, u go to your site and call then an attendant drives down from the Casino and turns on your power so u can hook up. The really nice part is u are about a quarter mile from the casino so u don't get any of the casino hubbub. We really loved our site level, concrete pad, grass all around, sites are spaced out nicely for an RV park. We had a nice ocean view. U are right across the street from the water with a nice sandy beach. There is a free shuttle that u can call to take u to the casino if u are into casinos or take a lovely twelve minute or so walk there. Wish we could have stayed another day there to explore more.

Heading back from Tallahassee we had reservations for Fort Pickens Campground on Pensacola Beach but were cancelled because of Hurricane Ian. Davis Bayou Campground in Ocean Springs also closed. We called Silver Slipper and they put us up no problem. At check in I joined Players Club at the Casino and they gave us one free night. Otherwise I think it is $35/night. Full hookups, clean campground right across from beach. Campground faces east and the beach so there was a beautiful sunrise. Campground right across road from beach so easy to take a nice walk. Quiet campground. No complaints. Did I say you get one night free if you join Players Club--they even threw in a free buffet meal.
