Great place, easy access/reservation process, right on a beautiful lake to the west (perfect sunsets). Showers and baths are very clean. I would definitely stay here again!
Really relaxing place to camp. Didn’t fish, but others said that was good too. Owners patrol area, so no issues with noise. Cell reception for data on Verizon didn’t work, but strong wi-fi signal took its place

After being on the road 7 days, we booked this campsite sight unseen. What a welcome surprise! It is the quietest Campground we've ever stayed in! The sites are gravel with a grass yard. There are big beautiful mature shade trees throughout and the park is located right on Blue Lake Iowa which used to be part of the Missouri River.
Because it's a KOA there are a lot of amenities including a pool, laundry room, and small store. Everything is super clean and well-maintained!
The people that own it are a young family and they are super friendly! The Wi-Fi was great as well.
The park is located down a road surrounded by corn fields on one side and the lake on the other. A beautiful Serene place to stay!

Our site was right on the lake. We had a dock right besides us for fishing. The kids caught big catfish. The campground was almost empty during the week.

The location along the Interstate 29 corridor was convenient. Far enough to not hear the cars we could see over the fields traveling north and south. Sites were gravel and grass was slightly sparse under the mature shade trees... could be a little bit of a mess under less ideal weather conditions. Pull-through site made it easy in, easy out. The park was quiet with good AT&T service and wi-fi... though we were not able to do much with the wi-fi during our brief visit. Bathrooms were clean and full hook-ups were available. The Lewis and Clark State Park campground can be seen across the lake.

We stopped through here on our way to points east in August 2021. Conveniently located not far from the interstate and easy to find. Weather coming in was rough but eased up once in town. Check-in was pleasant and the staff were professional. We were escorted to our site (seems almost standard at koa)which was nice because the picnic table assigned to the site had been moved to the neighboring site with theirs and had several people sitting on it. The staff took care of the problem and all was good. TV reception was good, fhu and no issues. Sadly did not have a chance to explore the park but looked like it would be a fun place to hang out for a few nights. Lots of cornfields when we were coming in. Site was a bit muddy as would be expected due to rain but otherwise level and clean. Seemed nicely shaded.

Beautiful mature trees and neatly kept grounds. On a lake with a state park campground across the lake so great location far enough from interstate to be quiet. The only drawback is lack of gravel and updated site management. The turning radius in the park should be updated for larger rigs if you want to continue to cater to them. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again as it was easy on and off from the interstate and so peaceful. Just a little less grass and more gravel needed.

Beautiful park. Staff is very friendly. Gravel roads and sites are narrow. We drive a 45 ft class A and tow a pickup truck. The turns through the park are doable but tight. This park has placed poles up to keep people from driving on the grass in the tight turn areas. Seems they would rather risk you damaging your rig then drive on any grass. We disconnected our tow vehicle to leave and hooked it up again at a rest area just south of this exit. Pretty park, convenient location…… but won’t stay again because of how tight it was for us.

This campground really needs some work. All roads were mud. Did not see an adult working, only high school and middle school kids. Kids did a good job finding us a less muddy site. Also, its about 3 miles from I-29 so no highway noise. Trees make turns tight, OK for our 30 foot Class A but bigger rigs will have problems. Our site was level, Site 91.

This place is very tranquil. It sits between a corn field and a beautiful lake. The people are super friendly. The bathrooms and showers are nice. We definitely recommend it!!
