“guiding you safely to shore”
Point Bolivar Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse in Port Bolivar, Texas, that was built in 1872. It served for 61 years before being retired in 1933, when its function was replaced by a different light.
Reviews
The Bolivar Point Lighthouse is currently privately owned (so not available to be toured), but if you are in the area, it is still certainly worth your time to drive by to see it and take a few pictures. From Galveston, you can take the Galveston Ferry to the Bolivar Peninsula, and then it is a short 4 mile drive to the lighthouse.
