With Passport America this place is only $9 a night! It has 24 hour security and a gated entrance. I stayed 2 nights. I was there during Tropical Storm Cindy so it rained the entire time. The river and "beach" area were closed because of flooding. There were not many people in this park, probably because of the storm. Down by the river it had a nice playground for kids. The bathrooms were not anything to write home about. The bath house that was closest to my spot, was not dirty but didn't look like it was cleaned often. The door was always open and it was very humid and wet in there, even the toilet paper was moist which kind of irritated me.
I was in a pull through spot, had all the hook ups, a picnic table on a concrete pad. The driveway for the trailer was gravel. There are a lot of trees, it was very shaded. There is a disc golf course, that was closed because of the rain, a nice athletic field, several group camping areas. There was a very limited store in the gatehouse. The laundry is $1.00 a load to wash and $.25 to dry, it is located in an air conditioned shed.
The location was close to I-65, and even though you couldn't see it, you could hear some traffic noise. I would stay here again all the amenities for the right price!

They accept many of the Federal passes here. For $9 you get 50 amp FHU. Can’t go wrong with that. The park is very outdated. The showers in the bathouse were clean. The heaters were on because it was cold. Laundromat was shut down due to all machines being “broken down”. Playgrounds were old and in need of updating. Traffic noise is pretty bad - as is the train that goes through somewhere nearby. The fact we had 50 amp, we were simply happy to shower in the rig thanks to sewer hookup and watch TV for the first time in forever. Great for the price.

Had a small child & dog with me. Bathroom & shower nearby. A lot of people go to this park to play disc or swim.

This campground is very close to the highway. Traffic noise throughout the whole night. No escape possible if u plan to sleep in a tent. For RVs possibly no problem. Noisy neighbors too - fire and radio till 4 am.
Flush toilet and shower very clean and spacious, water on site but... not much sleep possible.

All services (electricity, water and sewer) 9,36 US (with Passport America), it's a bargain !! The site are of good size, the intimacy very good and the
security also very good. The only "snag" is the noise of the highway not far. But when you are a fan of Walmart night, frankly traffic we have seen others! We went there Wednesday and Thursday, surely less busy than weekend.
If you are on the road, it’s perfect.
If you are looking for deep nature, maybe not very good.
Over all, in RV it’s perfect

This is the first place I have paid to stay on my trip from Colorado to Destin, FL. The others have all been free, either a city park with electricity of two Harvest Host sites with no hookups. The dense forest makes it feel like we are in the mountains.....if there was no traffic noise. But, it’s hot and I have the AC on for my German Shepherd so I can’t hear the road noise now anyway. All in all, a good place to stay. Getting here was a winding trip through some interesting neighborhoods using Apple maps!!! LOL. Also, when I saw someone post a picture of a white GSD in the park I had to stay here because my white GSD is traveling with me!!!

we stayed 2 nights all sites have full hook ups 30 and 50 amp, water, sewer. We were suppose to be in site 24 but somehow there was a person already there that the rangers were trying to get to get out apparently he was not registered. So we were put in site 28 but it was so unlevel we couldn't level with all our wheels on the ground! Flagged down a ranger and he immediately called back to the office and put us on site 38 which is perfect level and right next to the showers. Showers are clean but older. The ones near site 34 seem better than the ones by the playground . Park is quiet and well shaded. All the rangers are exceedingly helpful. Don't rely on GPS it won't get you there! We took exit 13 off of I 65 and followed signs.

This was our 2nd stay here. This is a great little spot that's very affordable. They accept Passport America for 3 nights. They also have very reasonable monthly and weekly rates. The staff is super nice and the campground is patrolled by park staff. They have a great walking track with exercise equipment! This was the first place I have seen have something like this. Please see my video below for a better look. They also have basketball, frisbee golf, fishing, tent camping (with electric and water) and several bathhouses. You have to leave a $40 deposit, but it is promptly returned once you check out. There is some highway noise, but the beauty of this park more than makes up for it. There are several hikes and lots to do in the area. I recommend this park.
