The Ridge Course at Eagle Crest Resort has hosted two Northwest Opens and most recently, the 2006 Oregon Open. The key to scoring here lies in the approach shot and negotiating the subtle nuances of each green.While there are plenty of holes to remark upon, the #3 par-3 is considered the signature hole of The Ridge Course, featuring elevated tees playing to a slender green and boasting magnificent views of the Cascades. When playing this hole, beware as the out of bounds lurks just left of the cart path and players often make the mistake of focusing too much on the water hazard only to land outside play just left of the bunker. This hole forces players to hit a precise shot as the only bail out option is to lay up short of the green.
