Iconic Attraction
Our Take
Savannah's Forsyth Park is one of America's oldest, dating to the 1840s, and it exemplifies Southern charm. There's nothing quite like strolling among ancient oaks dripping with Spanish moss, the scent of flowers in the air, and the sound of fountains splashing in the distance. Actually, the mist blowing off the fountain is the perfect relief from the insane heat and humidity Savannah gets in the summer. Or wait until the sun starts to go down and the vintage-looking street lamps glow on... it's a truly magical experience.
