I originally planned on tent camping, but a last minute freeze warning put my plans on halt. The employees helped me switch my reservation to a cabin very easily. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the shower and bathrooms were impressively clean. In fact, I only used the bathroom 4 times in a day and 3/4 times, a lady was there cleaning and restocking. The people were friendly, the cabin was warm, and I left happy and well-rested. They're kinda expensive but I like the fact that they have security patrol at night, especially since I usually travel and camp by myself.
a little on the high side for a one night stay and their sites are so close together you think your camping with your neighbor. I truly felt closed in so little space between my TT and the one behind me.
Clean campground, friendly staff, pool was great. We will definitely be back.

We rarely stay at KOAs, but there've been a few times when they were the only thing available in the area. This is one that we thought went above and beyond making you feel comfortable. The campground is set off the road in a tree-filled area with a lot of beautiful places to walk and bike. The staff was super nice too.

We met friends here and they made the reservation. The park worked out fine for our visit, but we wouldn't stay again. We checked out Grandma's Park near by and that is a quiet park with level, gravel sites and NO amenities for children. Our park is a KOA so we expected families with children and they didn't disappoint! Sites are dirt and you could see they were a mess when it rained. They were quite close together which is usual for KOA's. The park has FHU's and water/electric sites available. There are pull thru's and back-ins with an area for long term stays which wasn't very nice. There are various degree of quality in the sites, as is the pricing. The most expensive sites have a concrete patio with a table and chairs but the pad is gravel and not that level. There are also larger gravel sites with a larger gravel patio. We were in a short term area with pull thru's and a very small grass area. You are escorted to your site since many are scattered in various areas, at differetn angles. The park also had cabins which appear to be very nice. Many are new this year. There is a large playground and bouncy pillow for the children. There are two nature trails. The pool has been closed all summer for drainage issues but there is an inside hot tube. The office personal were very friendly and helpful. Occasionally there is noise from the airport but very infrequently. WiFi worked fine in the morning when use was down.

We were placed in site 382, which was at the back of the campground. Wifi was non-existent and our site required significant leveling. Pool is nice, as is the camp store, but when you're paying KOA prices you expect the amenities to be there. Will avoid if possible.

Stayed here for a week since it was closer to Bourbon trail and to a music festival venue. Had a premium patio site with built in firepit. Site #283. Great shade and fit our 42' rig and truck. As others have noted, side to side was unlevel but the Anderson levelers did their job. Very nice pool still open and nice play areas. There is some airplane traffic but not too intrusive. Laundry was great, bathrooms clean (but with a weird odor). T-mobile Internet was blazing fast at 300+Mbps. You pay for all of this, but we needed the location .... Enjoy! 4.5 stars

We stayed in this campground in April, that was a low season. Therefore, it was quiet and not crowded - very enjoyable. What I liked the most was a lot of open grassy areas around campground, which make our walks with dogs very pleasant. The staff was very helpful. Of course, the location of this KOA - right in the middle of the two Bourbon areas - Bardstown and Louisville - makes it very attractive. It was perfect location for us. We have a video about this campground and our favorite distilleries on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers - Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Episode 7.

We usually avoid KOA but this was a nice surprise. The sites we were assigned were 310 &311. Not great when it rains bit of a mud hole. Would be perfect in dry weather close to entrance could use more gravel to help with mud. But spacious site and plenty of shade. Shower/bath were clean hot showers We van camp and need the restroom access this was a far hike. We stayed week after derby. Is a long drive to Churchill downs
