“delicious wines made from scratch”
Missouri wines to be too sweet. Not so at the Peaceful Bend Winery. Located outside of Steelville, on a lonely road leading up towards the Meramec River, it's easy to miss, but worth turning back around for. Operated by a husband and wife (and their various lab dogs) this is a rewarding visit every time. Believe or not, it's even kid friendly -- they just stretch out with the dogs in front of the wood stove (in winter) or out on the front porch (in summer) while the grown ups sample the wine.
