We couldn’t find any campgrounds in or near Denver so we ended up here. This campground has nice amenities, especially for kids. But 45 minutes from Denver was a little inconvenient, and the highway noise was very loud.

I was driving in from Missouri and had crossed Kansas all in one go. I really needed somewhere to stay reasonably close to the Denver International Airport so I could pick up my boyfriend. I was able to make my reservation at 9:30 the night before online, which was a necessity seeing as the office was closed. I rolled in the next morning, earlier than check in time, and was able to get a spot.
It was a level pull through on gravel. I unhooked the trailer, hooked up the AC, left the dogs in the camper, and jetted off to the airport.
It was my first KOA experience. Since then, I have stayed in one other KOA and by comparison, the one in Colorado has been better. This is a no-frills KOA but is pleasant enough. The wifi sucks as usual, there were what looked like a few full timers. I can't speak for the men's bathroom, but the women's bathroom was fairly bizarre. It had an infestation of ants and flies, a strange layout, a strong smell of moldy garlic, and a few of the bathroom stall locks didn't work. However, I used the shower in my trailer so it wasn't that big of a deal.
The dog park is depressing but there are little benches to sit on.
All in all, if you're driving through and need a place to stay for a night to get errands done during the day, this isn't a bad place to stop. I felt very safe and wasn't bothered by anyone.

Basic KOA with the same amenities most of them have. Only stayed here because everything in Denver was booked. Typically we avoid these over priced campgrounds but needed elec hookups to run AC. Easy access to highway and pull thru spots.
Can be noisy since this is between highway and railroad tracks.

Was the only campground available anywhere near Denver, Oct 6-7, 2018. Mostly fulltime residents, close parking. Sits between I70 and a railroad track, I70 was noisier. Very nice staff, BBQ restaurant onsite, typical amenities, nothing fancy for an expensive $57 per night. Cell service was terrible, as was their wi-fi. ATT indicated 4 bars 4G, but we've had better service with 1 bar, 3G, don't know what's up with that. Would recommend a wi-fi booster and/or cell booster.

We stayed here to have place to leave our motorhome when we flew to Reno to see our kids. Our rig was secure and there aren't many places much better or cheaper. Otherwise, it's $50 bucks for 30 amp and water, $60 for full hookups but you will be serenaded by the freeway noise included the dramatic drum beat of semi-truck tires hitting the bridge joints.
The cell service isn't anything to write home about. Verizon is okay most of the time but AT&T is on a shared network and it's spotty at best. Didn't try the free wifi but the office told us it was slow and spotty. Not much out here either. They have an onsite eatery and a couple close by but this is a stop along the way, not a destination. Then again, the Front Range doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to RV parks so...

Like many RV parks the sites are close together, but if you're stopping for the night based on location rather than amenities that's pretty much what you expect.
The site we had was a gravel pull through and mostly level. Hookups in the normal location; everything worked. Staff was professional and courteous. Got in late and left early; didn't check out any of the facilities but if they're like the office then everything is clean and neat.
It's between I-70 and RR tracks but I don't remember hearing either, which probably is more a reflection on me than the site.
We stayed the night of July 4, 2020 so the prices were high and the park was completely full.

Pros:
- Onsite food truck will right delivery to your RV - pizza, hot wings, and BBQ
- Tons of small sitting gardens setup around camp (mostly for tent campers)
- Someone is growing a veggie garden and has a chickens and a turkey in a coop in the back of the RV park
- Office has a nicely stocked store with hand-scooped ice cream available
Cons:
- Loud truck road noise is constant - 24/7, along with occasional airplanes overhead and daily trains passing by
- Heavy pargo patrol - while friendly, you have no privacy with a constant stream of 6+ pargos always around
- Dog park is a good size, but fence, yard, and equipment are all broken and in need of repair (Small dogs could even escape through the broken fence!)
- No recycling at all... definitely not a 'Denver' vibe

This was the worse campsite that we have ever had in a year or RV’ing. I’m surprise that it is a KOA - I thought KOA had standards.
Boxed into crowded sites with the neighbor’s black water at your doorstep/picnic table.
Located near a train track and interstate made It too noisy to sleep.
A bright light on top of each electrical box was very irritating keeping me awake most of the night.
My only positive comment would be that a gentleman greeted us and directed us to our site.
It would be better to save your money and boondocks at a Walmart.

Full hook ups with 30amp/50amp power. On the pricey side for what we got. I wouldn't stay here again if I had another option.
When we arrived we were met by a gentleman by the office front door. He asked my name then told us we were suppose to be in #94, but he'd had a couple of cancellations so he was going to put us in a larger spot. He climbed into a golf cart to lead us. Turns out there was a camper in the spot he was going to put us in and we ended up in #94 after all. The spot was very narrow and a picnic table had to be moved to get our 5th wheeler into the spot. The spots are gravel and level nothing special. Some of the spots have fake grass sections between the spots. They seem to have a lot of full or long timers and the spots for the full timers are not well cared for. Nothing like pulling into a pricey KOA and finding weeds growing up all around the rigs in the row ahead of you. They advertise cable and fast WiFi. Well one out of two worked. I plugged into the cable and got 4 channels. We were close to Denver so I scanned with our antenna and got 28 channels. The WiFi was in fact fast. They have a BBQ restaurant that services the campground until 7:00. It was nice to not have to cook and the food was good. The KOA is right next to I - 70 so you have freeway noise.
