The Four Corners Monument offers the rare chance to stand in four states at once: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Marked by a bronze medallion, this iconic spot is a fun photo opportunity and a bucket-list stop for road trippers. The terrain is flat and easy to access, with vendors nearby selling Native American crafts, jewelry, and snacks that add cultural depth to the visit. You can take your time exploring the small plaza, browsing handmade goods, and lining up for your turn at the famous marker.

I really enjoyed my stop here. There were nice people selling handmade items and art. I enjoyed talking and shopping with them. This was one of my favorite places on my 8 day Utah road trip.
After driving through Monument Valley, we stopped at this famous location where four states, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado & Utah all come together. You can lay in all four states at one time. There were many Native American booths selling jewelry, crafts & food such as the fried Indian bread. As for unique crafts, I purchased a paper weight of a large tarantula and another with a scorpion.
Just off Route 66 and I-40 is perhaps the best-preserved meteor crater on Earth. The largest impact crater is almost one mile wide, 2.4 miles around the rim and 570 feet deep. The meteor hit 49,000 years ago. At the site is a fabulous movie theater, discovery center & mineral shop. We hiked the outdoor observation rim trail which gave us great views of the crater. The movies “Starman”, “Meteor” & “Damnation Alley” were filmed here. This was great fun for the entire family.
This was a pleasant surprise. We hit a craft market with loads of art for sale.
Kind of neat to stand in 4 states at one time. Just a heads up, it is not pet friendly.
$16 for two of us to drive through the gate, stand on the monument and drive back out. We ended up turning around and not going. That's ridiculous!
We drove 3 hours to come here only to find out it CLOSES at 8pm!!! We were 3 minutes late. I get vendors, stalls, food, and buildings closing. That all makes sense but why the hell do they have to close the piece of ground?! None of the national parks do that. What a joke. I guess if you happen to be passing it in the house it’s open it could be a cool experience but if you’re a bit off don’t waste your time!
It was $8.00 dollars a person. We got there at about 9:30 almost 10 AM on a Thursday in May. Most of the vendors were just getting set up for the day. There were quite a few. A lot of pretty stuff. They do have four corners souvenirs as well as a lot of custom jewelry. no lines and someone was kind enough to take a photo. We weren’t even there an hour.
Price to enter $8 per person.
Nice stop.
