“The Vermont House Where Rudyard Kipling Wrote ‘The Jungle Book’”
Naulakha is very comfortably furnished for 8 people. Much of the furniture, in fact, was chosen by the Kiplings. Sleep in Rudyard Kipling’s bed or bathe in the tub where he “luxuriously parboiled myself in a hot bath knowing I was beholden to no man.” Sit before the fireplace in the study where Kipling wrote the Jungle Books and Captains Courageous; imagine your own stories or read a book from the original bookcases.
Reviews
We parked down the road and took a long beautiful walk to the property. While we didn't get to tour the property it was very nice to see from the road. The houses in the surrounding area are all very nice and unique to the area. The views along the road are second to none.
