Really nice KOA. Clean roads level sites, lots of space, not many trees, big lake with walking path, entertainment for the kids. Nearby Arboretum only $5. Walmart nearby too. Gas station at camp. Office staff perfunctory. Great WIFI and AT&T LTE. $42/night, 3pm check in time. Interstate nearby, Always hear distant background noise but tolerable.

When you look up this RV park it says it is a resort..... A resort it is not! There is no pool there is a lake there, but no cabanas Covered cabanas or shaded picnic areas at the lake there’s no bikes to rent or little go carts to rent there’s no mini golf or other activities so I’m not sure how or why they call it a resource you are right across the street from the waterpark and shopping and groceries is close by there is a gas station on site
It’s by the property not too far away and you do hear that and we had issues with people being allowed after 1030 at night and there’s nobody you can call

IG: @SerafinaTheAirstream - We visited the Cedar Falls and Waterloo area to visit friends. We have never expected to have so much fun in those two towns (this was our first time in Iowa). They have so much to offer and, simply, they’re cute. Great places to eat, bars to hang, pretty cool local stores, and amazing micro-breweries. The RV park is pretty cool too. They have a beach, walking/running path around the lake, water activities, a gas station with a great convenience store, spacious and relatively leveled spots. The water park next door was so much fun. There’s also mini golf and a go-kart track next to the water park. I highly recommend this KOA!!!

Clean, manicured campground. Bathrooms were alright--- shower had a 30 second push button. Nice little lake to walk around. Nice camp store. Pleasant staff. Gravel level sites. No tree cover. No designated dump station but all sites are full hookup. Gas station on site with diesel. A little highway noise but not bad. I imagine this campground is very busy in season as it is family friendly and great for kids.

We stayed here overnight. Unfortunately it rained all day and we were not able to fully enjoy all the amenities in the park. The park was clean, it had several areas for laundry, showers and public bathrooms. The sites were a bit close to each other but good enough to have a good time. I will definitely comeback next summer

We stayed at started at the Lost Island water park KOA for just one night while passing through the area. We were in our class C while slowly making our way across the country. We had no problems getting a spot here. Sites are gravel for the RV, reasonably level, and very well maintained. Most sites are pull through. Hookups are in very good condition. Each site had a grassy area with a picnic table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a playground, beach and fenced dog area. Cost was very good for the amenities provided.
The campground had a store, gas station and propane available.
We had 4 bar LTE with Verizon. Our hotspot was usable and performed very well.
We enjoyed our brief stay at this campground. We will stay again when traveling this way.

We stopped here for 1 night and it was one of the best campgrounds I have stayed in so far. We arrived at about 4pm and the kids immediately went to the beach area to swim. There was plenty to do to keep the kids busy and daily activities as well. Very spacious as well. I have a 44ft 5th wheel and had no issues maneuvering around. Internet was solid too! T-Mobile business I was getting about 200Mbps. There is a nice convenience store up front as well as propane fill up and gas pumps. There is a dog park, play ground, shower/restroom facilities, frisbee golf and a trail that goes around the lake. Highly recommend!

This KOA Resort was really nice. We stopped here on our way back from a trip out west and needed a place to reset for a few days before we began traveling again. The amenities of this campground are really fantastic. They have their own gas/fuel station, the convenience store has everything you can think of, there are multiple shower houses and laundromats, a very nice dog park, a giant lake, and "lost island" themed decor spread throughout it all. We purchased four tickets to the water park around the corner (discounted tickets can be purchased at the campground store) and enjoyed our time at the water park as well. The only negative I would say is that the shower houses/bathrooms were not the cleanest, with many dead bugs and mosquitos on the countertops.
