Stayed 2 nights at a dry, tent site with our family of 6 and I must say this was one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at across country! Very large, clean bathroom/shower facilities. Lots of activities for children-pool, playground, soccer field, gaga pit, hiking trail, etc. On site access to camp store, restaurant, espresso, and ice cream. Very close to Glacier National Park, which is an amazing experience in itself!!
This was our first KOA. It was very well kept and clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back! Other campers and townspeople said it was the nicest KOA they'd ever seen. Highly recommend!
Beautiful campground within striking distance of Glacier NP.
We were there 4 nights and this place is awesome. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but the people were very nice. A+ place. We will come back one day. Close to the park and easy to get to. Loved it.
Very nice KOA, one of the nicest we have stayed at. Restaurant was meh. They have an ice cream shop, two dog parks etc.
... it's not $225 a night nice. I feel there are better campgrounds in the area. Sure, lots of flowers & plants along with extra amenities. We stayed here for a rally, site was fairly level for a gravel site. We probably wouldn't stay here again on our own. We camped at West Glacier KOA Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a flagship campground for the KOA. The spots are relatively large, with nice picnic tables and a little grassy area. There are two pools, one for families, one for adults, both are beautiful. The campground is backed up to a mountain, but because it is such a large campground, most people will not have much of a view. We lucked out and got the one on the end, so we saw some amazing sunsets.
Internet was pretty bad, but phone reception was decent.
This is a beautiful KOA and you can't beat the location. This is located less than a 10 minute drive from the entrance to Glacier National Park.
The grounds are immaculate and the sites are very level. Water pressure seemed to go in and out quite a bit to where it was pretty low pressure. We didn't have any issues with electric.
There are 2 pools...1 for kids and 1 for adults, a hot tub, onsite restaurant and a large clean laundry. They also have propane onsite and a small store for snacks with a decent selection of touristy trinkets.
We had 1 of the premium sites so there was privacy landscaping to where it didn't feel quite as packed in as most private parks.
The price was quite high. The only negative is the wifi was completely unusable for about 90% of our stay and there is no cable tv available. There were a couple of OTA channels. They're getting 4 starts instead of 5 because of the high prices and lack of connectivity options which I think should come with those prices.
For internet, Verizon voice was good but data was .33 d/l. Booster doesn't help so it must be network congestion here.
ATT was good for voice and data 12+ d/l unboosted. T mobile data was non existent.
Good walking around the grounds for the dogs and there were 2 small fenced dog areas onsite. Pro tip, they have small motorboat rentals at Apgar Village on the lake and they allow dogs in the boats. They were great priced at $25/hr for the rentals.
Shopping for groceries etc was about 20 min drive in Columbia Falls.
Nearby activities were too many to mention. You can hike, bike, and boat to your heart's content here. Don't miss Going to the Sun road. It was an amazing drive and you will see lots of wildlife.

We are a big fan of KOA campgrounds and have probably stayed in over a dozen different KOA campgrounds near many National Parks. This is the best KOA we stayed in over the last 5 years.
The staff was fantastic and our premium pull-through site was terrific. We made a fire for a couple of nights in a fire pit and enjoyed the ice cream store available on site.
The site was expensive but was worth it. The location was only a few miles from the entrance to Glacier National Park and it was only about a 10 minute drive to the park entrance.

We stayed a week here in June of 2018. The location makes the park. Go into Hungry Horse and get your firewood. $6 for a small bunch is too much. The motel on the left as you enter town sells various sizes a lot cheaper.
