We liked it here for a pretty long duration stay. There's a river maybe 200 yards away from the entrance and a pond and a pool. Like many RV parks there's trains that run nearby, but all in all a decent experience. You can get Charter internet installed if you'd like to have good broadband, but cell service is excellent if you don't.
Lots of birds to see! Very close to shopping and restaurants.

Visited during Chinese virus scare, no person to person check in, envelope taped to office door with site and park info. Public facilities closed. Nice, well kept park. Rate was with Good Sam discount. Price was high put there aren’t many options in Wichita Falls that I could find.

In route from Albuquerque to Galveston, Wichita Falls is right in the middle, so we like to stay in that area when route planning. We usually like to stay at Lake Arrowhead State Park, but it was full because COVID19 restrictions knocked the occupancy limit to 50%. Also, Lake Arrowhead is off the main drag, and adds a few more miles to the trip. We therefore decided to check out this campground, and we are glad we did.
We did everything by phone and never saw the staff, but they were friendly and helpful.
Our site was up front, so we had easy access to it, but there are some nice one along the back of the property along the creek that I would recommend for a little more quiet.
We got a full hook-up site which included cable, but we couldn't get the cable to work, so we just streamed from my phone.
I really appreciated the fact that they graded their sites level side-to-side, so I didn't have to break out the leveling blocks. I was able to stay connected and just leveled front to back with the tongue jack and dropped the stabilizers.

We were here for 5 nights in August 2020. We were in back-in site 20, which was level, shaded and plenty wide and long enough for our 35’ MH and tow car. The pads are gravel with a paved pad for picnic table. There are a lot of pull through sites that are plenty long for big rigs and not tight together. They have FHU, great cable and very decent WiFi. Verizon cell service was 4G 4 bars. The fulltime and long-term folks are over in a different section. The park is on the Wichita River, has lots of ducks and geese that like the pond there and there are lots of kitschy things around the park. They have a pool, laundry and bathhouses - all clean. I did not meet any staff as they had contactless check-in – your paperwork is taped to the office door. There is plenty of shopping all around. We took a lovely hike through Lucy Park and saw the beautiful Wichita Falls. We would go back to this very nice park.

We were here for 2 days. Easy to get to from freeway, very quiet at night. We were in a pull through which cost a little more then a back in. Wide road to maneuver through the campground. Sites are gravel, level and well spaced. No contact registration but the lady who took our reservation was nice. The bathrooms were closed at the time of our visit. Wi-fi was good enough to run our ROKU TV.

Clean, nice pool. Love the decor and statues. Great place for kids and dogs. Area to walk by a river and sit and enjoy the pond. No shade. Close enough to HWY 82. Quiet. Lots of birds walking around so there are some bird dropping to watch out for.

On our recent 5 week trip from LA to NM, we stayed 1 night on the way to NM and 1 night on the return trip. We had site 9 both times. The park doesn’t appear to be in a great part of town, but the park itself is fine. Very clean and well maintained. There is a nice pond and also a new concrete walking path ( appears government owned) next to the rivet. Site 9 was a nice backin site that faces the river and the site next to it is a short pull through site that wasn’t occupied either time we were there. There doesn’t appear to be much to do in the area, but this is a great place to stop for the night.

We stayed for 2 nights in April 2021. The park was clean/well maintained. There's pockets of long term stays but seems like they try and keep those coming in for a few days in the first 2 rows. There is a small pond which the kids enjoyed fishing at. At this age, catching one small fish was enough to keep them entertained for a bit. As others mention, the surrounding area isn't the best part of town, but the park itself was fine. Site was nice level gravel with a decent sized concrete area for the provided picnic table. If I was passing through the area again, I would definitely stay here again.
